Message intake, I'd see smoke coming out of both sides of my exhaust.

I think the key fact here is that I have oil ONLY coming out of my driver side exhaust pipe (even with a X pipe configuration).

When I had originally goofed and let oil back-flow into the compressor housing (stuck rag in oil drain pipe from turbo), I saw smoke from both tail pipes. That all made sense.

Once I cleaned it up and purged everything I knew of out of the intake (and exhaust), I was left with a little smoke remaining at idle from the driver side only.

That to me either means I still have residue somewhere in the muffler itself, or I've got a VERY slow leak somehow getting into the exhaust. I still would think some amount of that oil smoke would come over to the passenger side in a X configuration.
